Storyline Cinematic Titanic: War of the Insects
The bugs shall inherit the earth! Or so says Annabelle, the hottest, the sexiest, and by far the craziest psycho blonde chick to hit Japan since WWII. Deeply embittered about the whole man's-inhumanity-to-man thing, she enacts a diabolical plot to unleash a swarm of mutant insects on the world that will destroy all living creatures except creepy crawlers. Ensnared in all this madness is a philandering island-hopping bug collector and his compliant and slightly pregnant wife, a humorless doctor from the mainland, and a United States airman named Charlie, whose way of starting a conversation is to hysterically scream "Genocide!" and then go off his rocker like the dedicated military professional he is. If you want to watch a story where everybody gets their nuclear holocaust on in the grand tradition of radioactive Japanese monster movies, this is the film for you!Movie details

Find Out About Cinematic Titanic: War of the Insects
"War of the insects" is a combination of "killer bugs" movie plus a spy story involving a missing US Air Force hydrogen bomb. The comics at Cinematic Titanic do a great job of making jokes about the absurd plot and the ridiculous dialog, which is dubbed of course.
War of the Insects is an alternate title for the 1968 film Genocide directed by Kazui Nihonmatsu. It was used in several of Cinematic Titanic's live performances. Prologue: Dave "Gruber" Allen introduces the cast and they take their seats.
Cinematic Titanic: War Of The Insects Mystery Science Theater 3000. The bugs shall inherit the earth! Or so says Annabelle, the hottest, the sexiest, and by far the craziest psycho blonde chick to hit Japan since WWII.
Cinematic Titanic Live: War of the Insects The bugs shall inherit the earth! Or so says Annabelle, the hottest, the sexiest, and by far the craziest psycho blonde chick to hit Japan since WWII.
A swarm of mutant bugs threatens to destroy all humankind in this Japanese monster movie, enhanced by comedic commentary from the cast of MST3K.

Cinematic Titanic and Rifftrax are edgier than MST3k by far in my opinion, but in all maybe just a little funnier. War of the Insects is just a bad Japanese bugocalypse movie and was just begging for this treatment.
Cinematic Titanic was a project by Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K) creator and original host, Joel Hodgson. The project involved "riffing" B-movies, in a manner similar to that of MST3K.Joining Hodgson were some of the original MST3K cast, as well as some cast members who joined later in the show's run. These included Trace Beaulieu, J. Elvis Weinstein, Frank Conniff and Mary Jo Pehl.
